This role is ideal for an experienced FP&A professional with a strong background in budgeting, performance management and business intelligence, who is looking for a role where they can have real business impact on an international scale.
Summary of role:
- Working closely with the Commercial and IT functional leadership teams, manage the production of the Commercial and IT budgets, liaising across the full international breadth of the team to confirm student recruitment targets for each institution and the cost of delivery.
- Work with the functional leadership teams to present the budget proposal for services to be provided to each group institution. Respond to queries and challenges to achieve an agreed final budget.
- Run the monthly management reporting for Commercial and IT, liaising with the various heads of department within these functions to understand drivers of budget variances.
- Manage delivery of the forecast, working closely with management to identify risks and opportunities and ensure they are managed appropriately and reflected in the forecast.
- Gather data from disparate sources to provide insight and analysis to the management team on absolute performance against financial and recruitment targets, and relative performance between institutions.
- Support the management team with business cases to assess the benefit of new projects and initiatives.
- Monitor capex spent on projects, ensuring the correct application of capitalisation rules and performance against budget and business case.
- Support the leadership team and Senior Group FP&A Manager on ad hoc matters as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
- 4+ years PQE
- Progressive experience in financial analysis, planning and partnering.
- Experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and valuation techniques
- Experience of business partnering and budgeting in a complex international business
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, able to produce and review financial data to ensure accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive implementation.
- Ability to critically analyse complex financial data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic & global environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-directed individual.
- Skill in presenting financial information visually through charts, graphs, and reports.
- Skill in delivering clear and impactful presentations to internal and external audiences.
