FP&A Manager
Location: London – Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £90,000–£100,000 + bonus up to 20%
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious FP&A Manager to join a high-growth financial services business at an important stage of its expansion.
This is not a traditional reporting-focused FP&A role.
You will have genuine ownership of Group operating expenditure and SG&A, working directly with senior stakeholders to understand what is driving the numbers, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
For someone who enjoys getting under the skin of a business, building insight from data and having a visible impact on decision-making, this is an opportunity to make a real difference.
The business is continuing to invest in its Finance function, systems and infrastructure, meaning this role will also have significant exposure to Finance transformation, ERP implementation, automation and AI.
Why This Role?
This is a role for someone who wants more than simply producing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
You will be expected to own the numbers, understand the story behind them and influence what happens next.
You will have exposure to senior leadership and external investors, while partnering with teams across the organisation to understand costs, utilisation, resource allocation and business performance.
You'll also be joining at a particularly interesting point in the Finance transformation journey, with a new ERP system and FP&A solution being implemented. This creates an excellent opportunity to help shape how FP&A operates as the business scales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
