FP&A Manager - 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Woking office with Hybrid working model

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an FP&A Manager to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract playing a key role in our daily finance operations. You will be working alongside a talented, like-minded team for one of Europe’s largest frozen food brands - Birdseye.
You will be responsible for driving annual planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics for our UK&I Birds Eye division, including standard management reporting. You will be responsible for the ownership of analytical standards for reporting and modelling KPIs and as a key financial liaison, partnering with the various departments across group central functions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support monthly variance analysis and explanations, preparation and posting of necessary accruals and journals alongside the Shared Finance Cluster Teams, by using local knowledge to enrich narrative for Nomads largest Cluster at €1bn Revenue
- Responsible for assimilating data from multiple systems and stakeholders to identify trends for KPIs, budgets and forecasts
- Ownership of key daily and monthly reports which include the VPMC, Daily sales, Rebate reports, Lumpsums, CLV downloads and Analysis File
- Prepare drivers of historic, current and forecast performance for UKI & prepare monthly analysis, insight and explanation of performance, highlighting emerging issues or trends and making recommendations on corrective actions

- Maintain and produce Forecast & Budget reports for leadership with guidance from Head of FP&A UKI
- Produce routine and ad hoc financial models to support leadership, FBPs and FP&A Group in decision making
- Facilitate standardisation and sharing of best practice across the Market Finance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Support automation and enterprise consolidation of data used in monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
- Prepare / Review SOX controls and ensure compliance. Support all audit requests. SOX 08.01, GAM05.03

About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, manufacturing or related field required
- Part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience with planning systems and reporting technology, including with business intelligence tools and developing data visualisations
- Able to work under time pressure and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong excel skills and a wider interest in systems.
- Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and thinking.
- Knowledge of commercial, financial and operational reporting.
