FP&A Manager – Planning & Reporting
📍 Basingstoke | £65,000–£75,000 | Hybrid
Finance professional who wants to influence more than just the numbers?
We’re looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to take ownership of planning, forecasting and reporting, while working closely with senior leaders to shape key business decisions. This is a broad, visible role combining commercial insight, financial expertise, problem-solving and people leadership.
What you’ll be doing
- 📊 Lead the annual budgeting, planning and forecasting cycle
- 🔎 Provide analysis, scenario modelling and insight to support decisions
- 🤝 Partner with senior leaders, challenging constructively and adding value
- 📈 Turn complex financial information into clear, actionable insight
- 💡 Support business cases, projects and investment decisions
- ⚙️ Improve reporting, processes and ways of working
- 🚀 Drive greater use of automation, data and visualisation
- 👥 Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals

The ideal candidate will be:
You’ll be a qualified accountant with strong FP&A experience and a track record across budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
You’ll also bring:
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Advanced Excel capability
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- The ability to explain complex information simply
- A constructive approach to challenge and problem-solving
- Experience improving processes and ways of working
- Experience managing or developing finance professionals
- Ideally, experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
