Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 + benefits (DOE)
Reporting to: CFO

The Business

We are partnering with a growing, technology-driven SaaS company delivering data-led solutions to enterprise customers. With a subscription revenue model, strong recurring income (£60m-£65m ARR) and a focus on scalable growth, the business is entering its next phase of commercial and operational maturity.

The Role

This is a high-impact Head of FP&A position responsible for leading financial planning, performance insight, and strategic decision support across the organisation. You will partner closely with senior leadership to drive growth, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Forecasting and Reporting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast cycles
  • Develop rolling forecasts aligned to commercial and operational drivers
  • Own long-range planning and financial road-mapping
  • Deliver monthly performance packs with variance analysis and commentary
  • Provide actionable insight into revenue drivers and cost efficiency

Scenario Planning & Modelling

  • Build and maintain robust financial models to assess strategic initiatives
  • Deliver scenario and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making
  • Model investment cases across product, sales, and operational functions

SaaS Metrics & Performance Reporting

  • Own reporting and analysis of key SaaS KPIs including ARR, MRR Churn, LTV, CAC, Gross margin & contribution margin

Business Partnering

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations to align financial targets with business plans
  • Support pricing strategy, customer profitability analysis and growth planning
  • Translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Enhance FP&A processes, tools and reporting automation
  • Improve data integrity and consistency across finance and operational systems
  • Build dashboards and visual reporting to support real-time decision making

Executive & Board Support

  • Prepare board-level reporting, investor materials and strategic analysis
  • Present financial insights and planning outputs to senior leadership

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Significant FP&A or commercial finance experience within a SaaS / tech environment
  • Strong understanding of subscription revenue models and SaaS metrics
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau Looker)
  • Commercially minded, proactive and confident influencing senior stakeholders
