LSL Property Services plc is one of the UK’s leading providers of services to the property industry, bringing together a range of businesses and expertise across the residential surveying, estate agency and financial services markets.
We are bringing together finance activities from across the Group into a central Finance Hub in Newcastle, creating more consistent ways of working and strengthening our finance operations. As part of this centralisation, we have created an exciting new opportunity for an FP&A Partner to join our Central Finance team.
Main Accountabilities
Analysis and Performance Optimisation
- Support best-in-class performance Insight and analytics for LSL/Division utilising key performance indicators and relevant metrics deliver variance analysis, trend and causation and compelling commentary.
- Support scenario modelling of market assumptions and business performance driving potential profit outcomes over the plan period.
- To be a finance business partner providing relevant data and analysis to ensure business decisions are taken with appropriate information.
- Ensure all decision points have best in class modelling of the appropriate metrics to inform decision making in an agile way.

Strategic optimisation
- Maintain external market perspective, modelling market, customer and competitor trends and their impact on business projections and trends.
- Provide modelling of potential business strategies, organic and acquisitive, market entry and exit.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and information to support all aspects of business decision making, understanding the business context and delivering relevant information and associated insight in an accurate and timely manner.
Planning
- Support of the overall Planning cycle support the creation and review of long-range plans, budget, quarterly and rolling forecasts - ensuring application of assumptions and local inputs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the creation of visually appealing and intuitive presentation materials to support the review of Plans, Budgets and Forecasts
- Where required, support the creation of investment appraisal and business cases for evaluation at Investment Committee/LSL Group management and Divisional SMTs.

Team & Group Liaison
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset, looking to automate and improve processes, technology solutions and ways of working.
- Build a collaborative relationship with Group and other divisional FP&A to deliver business planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements in the most effective way.

Location
Newcastle upon Tyne - predominantly office-based.
