FP&A Retail Analyst

Here at Peacocks we have a fantastic opportunity for a FP&A Retail Analyst to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Cardiff. If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking, fast-paced business, are ambitious and want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

With a store portfolio of c335 stores plus our expanding ecommerce business, this role reports into the FP&A manager and is key in analysing and reporting the performance of both business segments.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting of the daily sales and margin performance
  • Assist in preparation and production of the weekly trading slides
  • Production of shop and ecommerce budgets, forecasts and latest views – accuracy is key due to the impact on cash forecasting
  • Production and analysis of Store P&L’s & KPI’s
  • Production and analysis of E-commerce P&L & KPI’s
  • Production of monthly store P&L Packs for Senior Management
  • Assist with the production of the Quarterly Regional Review Packs
  • Interpretation of stores & ecommerce financial / management information in a clear and concise manner
  • Review, analyse and assist in the sign-off of month-end shop & ecommerce costs
  • Assist Retail and Store Managers with any P&L queries they have
  • Ad-hoc trading analysis of promotions / offers
