The Opportunity
An established education organisation is seeking a commercially focused FP&A Senior Analyst to support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, modelling, and performance insights.
This role is suited to an experienced finance professional who can turn complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations and work confidently with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across monthly, interim, and annual cycles.
- Produce accurate financial forecasts, management reports, and performance analysis.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic and commercial decisions.
- Provide management information, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support cash flow forecasting and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Analyse short- and long-term financial trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare financial viability and sustainability analysis to support future growth.
- Partner with budget holders and key stakeholders to improve financial accountability and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready financial records, systems, and documentation.
- Work with large datasets and apply analytical techniques to identify meaningful business insights.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate finance.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, either completed or in progress.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience working with large datasets, financial systems, and statistical or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to present financial insights clearly and influence decision-making at senior levels.
