FP&A & Strategic Finance Lead
📍 Hybrid, London
A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially focused FP&A & Strategic Finance Lead to join a high-growth organisation operating within the aerospace sector.
Working directly with the CFO, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic decision-making across the organisation. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape and build a best-in-class FP&A function.
The Opportunity
You will lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities while providing meaningful insight to support commercial and operational decision-making. As a key finance business partner, you will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, operations, supply chain and commercial teams to support growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and improve FP&A processes, reporting and systems
- Own KPI reporting, variance analysis and performance insights
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital planning
- Support strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Partner with senior leaders to drive commercial decision-making
- Prepare board and investor reporting packs
- Support fundraising, due diligence and investor requests
- Drive automation and process improvement across finance
- Establish finance as a trusted business partner across the organisation
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience within FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance or a related analytical environment
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Background within a high-growth technology, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or innovative sector
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a scaling or fast-growth business
- Confident managing complex data and translating it into actionable insights
- Proactive, curious and highly motivated with a hands-on approach
