Role Overview
As an integral part of Capgemini’s Intelligent Finance and Accounting Operation (IFAO) Team, you will help guide our Clients towards large-scale transformations using automation and technology solutions at the very forefront of innovation.
We seek individuals with a track record in building close and trusting relationships with FP&A stakeholders. You will have expertise in best-in-class Finance & Accounting processes facilitated by automation/technologies. You will be part of a talented team responsible for designing, selling and delivering end-to-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The FP&A Transformation Consultant supports clients across UK and Globally in managing and improving FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) processes and business outcomes. Using strong Finance knowledge, this role contributes to Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Analytics and Commercial Decision Support improvement initiatives enabled by technology.
The consultant works closely with client finance and controllership teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, in planning, budgeting, forecasting and analytics while contributing to transformation and digital enablement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
FP&A Process Improvement & Transformation
- Be part of a team managing FP&A process assessments, design and implementation projects and identify and implement opportunities for modernization and simplification
- Manage the assessment, design and implementation of future state FP&A processes, controls, and operating model enhancements
- Prepare the documentation of processes, SOP updates, and preparation of improvement roadmaps.
Technology-Enabled FP&A
- Work with the team leadership to build strong partnerships and work with FP&A technology solutions (ERP analytic modules, and enabling technology vendors (e.g. OneStream, Board, Anaplan) reporting tools, data extraction) to support automation and efficiency.
- Maintain good knowledge of technological products and solutions, with strong awareness of their strengths and weaknesses to drive innovation
- Leverage AI in transformation programmes.

FP&A business development and sales
- Support the team leadership to build, maintain and grow the sales pipeline for FP&A solutions
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development, preparing materials for client pitches, and presenting at client pitches
FP&A practice development
- Support the team leadership in the proposition development for FP&A
- Support internal initiatives to build tools, templates, and FP&A accelerators within the P&C team.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Business, or related field.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA certification
- Five plus years of FP&A experience
- Hands on experience with analytic tools, ERPs and platforms such as SAP, OneStream, Board, Anaplan etc.
- Proven track record of delivering transformation across FP&A and Finance process
- Experience of FP&A in Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Telecomm or Media industries
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
