FP&A Workstream Lead, £100,000 (6 month FTC), London and Hybrid (3 days in the office)

We are working with a world-leading Banking & Financial Services Group, who are looking to welcome a FP&A Workstream Lead on a 6-month FTC into their team.

In the role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the new FP&A system is suitable for the business, working across Finance, Technology and Change stakeholders as well as external partners. You will be involved in requirements gathering, testing and implementation as well as the transition to BAU.

Your Role

  • Own the FP&A workstream for the implementation of the new system, defining requirements, processes and controls
  • Manage the stakeholders in Finance, Technology and Change to gather requirements and work with external partners to ensure deliverables are agreed
  • Ensure the new system supports future planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis needs.
  • Involvement in the design of key financial controls and chart of accounts as well as other reporting requirements
  • Coordinate finance testing and business sign-off before go-live
  • Support change management team with user training to ensure the new FP&A system is successfully embedded into BAU

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with extensive FP&A finance change and transformation experience, ideally gained in banking or financial services.
  • Excellent business analysis and first rate communication skills
  • Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
