FP&A/Finance Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid 3x a week in office)
Salary: £70k - £75k + Benefits

I'm currently partnered with a global professional services organisation that is looking to hire an FP&A/Finance Analyst to join its high-performing Global Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong blend of finance, analytics and reporting experience who enjoys working with large datasets, building scalable reporting solutions and delivering meaningful commercial insights. You'll work closely with senior finance stakeholders and play a key role in improving investment reporting across an international business.

The Role

You'll take ownership of investment performance reporting while helping to design and automate reporting solutions that improve data quality, efficiency and decision-making across the finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing monthly investment performance reports covering revenue, costs, margins and cash flow
  • Developing and enhancing reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL and Excel
  • Building scalable reporting processes and driving automation across finance reporting
  • Partnering with Finance Systems teams to transition tactical reporting solutions into long-term platforms
  • Delivering commercial analysis and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders
  • Maintaining investment master data and ensuring reporting accuracy across multiple global entities
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, governance and data quality
  • Presenting financial and technical information in a clear, engaging and commercially focused way

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience building financial models
  • Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard development and data transformation
  • Practical SQL skills for querying and preparing datasets
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Experience working with multiple finance data sources and reporting systems
  • A background working with financial data within an FP&A, Finance or Commercial Finance environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Experience within a professional services environment or an accounting qualification would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
