About The Role
Reporting to the North Asset Manager, the Marine Logistics and Programme Controls Lead is responsible for leading and shaping the Marine Logistics and Programme Controls capability for INEOS FPS North in support of the Operations, Maintenance and Improvement activities of the asset at Onshore and Offshore locations of the Asset.
The Marine Logistics and Programme Controls Lead provides support to the INEOS FPS North Organisation, driving performance, accountability and alignment across teams and stakeholders. This includes establishing effective governance and optimising delivery to deliver sustainable improvements in safety, reliability and operational performance.
What does the day to day look like?
Marine Logistics
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of the asset marine logistics needs through the management of the marine services contract.
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy of any spare vessel capacity.
- Support the day-to-day delivery of vessel-based access solutions during focused campaigns of maintenance and improvements at INEOS FPS offshore assets.
- Advocate good practice, provide guidance and coaching to Team Leaders, Engineers, and Specialists.
- Proactively manage issues, risks and interdependencies to maintain progress.
Programme control
- Ensure Programmes are equipped with the right programme control resources to deliver on expectations outlined in the Programme strategy.
- Own and manage performance and behaviours across a suite of key FPS North contracts, including KPI setting, mitigation of risks and year on year performance improvements.
- Report on the progress/issues of Programme Control to the Asset Manager on a periodic basis.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Champion a culture of improvement and innovation.
- Support the adoption of new tools, processes and ideas.
- Identify improvement initiatives, to meet short and long term business goals for programme delivery excellence and cost effectiveness.

What do I need?
Minimum Experience
- High personal integrity and commitment to safety.
- Strong background in marine logistics in the North-East of Scotland.
- Experience in project/programme control.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strong decision-making skills, both within and out with areas of expertise.
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations (ERRV and PSV) and marine logistics in the UKCS.
- Working knowledge of helicopter logistics in the UKCS.

What happens now?

Pre-screen

Formal Interview
Successful applicants will be invited to face to face interview, which will consist of behavioural and technical questions. For some roles the recruitment process may also include technical testing, behaviour questionnaires and/ or a delivering a presentation.
Pre-employment process
Before commencing work with Ineos FPS you will need to complete our pre-employment screening process. This will consist of a pre-employment medical, employment history reference and qualification verification check. Some roles may also require a criminality check.
