Join our Completions and Wellbore Intervention Team

Our Stimulation and hydraulic fracturing operations are critical to maximizing well and field value. Baker Hughes provides versatile, customised systems to meet the specific needs of our customers — whether they are in deep water, extended-reach unconventional completions, or working a remediation stimulation project. We have frac vessels, surface equipment and innovative downhole multizone stimulation technologies to solve a range of customer issues.

Opportunity of cross training

This is a great opportunity to receive training and exposure to different product lines. You may be required to support other aligned field operations during the well completion phase. Specific training will be given and you will be gradually introduced to cross training, when required, supported by senior downhole tool specialists.

As a Frac Engineer you will interact with Baker Hughes completion office, customers office and customers representatives at the job site. You will lead a field specialist crew at rig site, mainly composed of downhole tools specialist and pumping operators. You will be involved in the design, execution and optimisation of various frac and gravel pack treatments.

As a Frac Engineer you will also be responsible for:

  • Operating, controlling and deploying fracturing operations and processes onsite according to the client activity plan
  • Collaborating with stakeholders at the design phase and be willing to diversify in the deployment of a variety of other completion tools (training provided)
  • Tracking chemicals, rates and pressures using a variety of purpose-built software to ensure effective data collection and analysis
  • Collaborating with the lab and occasionally managing the test of frac chemicals on location to ensure Quality Control
  • Ensuring all software is ready for the job and troubleshooting challenges that are encountered during the operation
  • Collecting data and providing client support – keeping all relevant stakeholders informed about technical issues and providing advisory support
  • Supervising teams onsite and training new frac crew and engineers
  • Daily report writing to provide accurate data to relevant stakeholders providing operational solutions and timely problem solving

The ITO Sourcing Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating global sourcing activities for ITO tenders at Baker Hughes, acting as the primary sourcing focal point for complex and strategic opportunities worldwide. The role partners closely with Sales & Commercial, Commodity Management, Engineering, and Project teams to deliver competitive, compliant, and high‑confidence tender solutions, while driving cost competitiveness, risk mitigation, supplier strategy, and long‑term value creation across the global supply base.

As ITO Sourcing Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary sourcing focal point for global ITO tenders, supporting Baker Hughes’ Commercial team.
  • Identifying and pursuing global and regional sourcing opportunities, leveraging market intelligence, volume aggregation, and strategic supplier positioning.
  • Reviewing and evaluating customer subcontracting requirements to ensure sourcing compliance and risk awareness within tender submissions.
  • Supporting Product Line Strategic Sourcing teams with qualified supplier selection, competitive RFQ execution, commercial evaluation, and robust award justification.
  • Ensuring high cost confidence in tender submissions through accurate costing, supplier alignment, and validated assumptions.
  • Leading supplier engagement workshops and qualification activities, partnering closely with Commodity Leaders to align strategy and execution.
  • Identifying sourcing-related risks and opportunities, developing mitigation and value creation plans with clear action owners, and ensuring disciplined execution and closure.
  • Driving the established optimized sourcing strategy, including volume leverage and advance releases aligned with the Business Development Plan (BDP).
  • Owning and delivering cost-out initiatives and lead time optimization actions across the supply base.
  • Negotiating, implementing, and managing Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with key suppliers/components, contributing to the strategic target of 90% LTA coverage.
