Role Description

This is an on-site Fractional C-Suite role, supporting multiple client organizations as a senior executive leader. The role involves integrating into client businesses, assessing their strategic and operational needs, and developing clear roadmaps for growth, restructuring, or investment readiness. The Fractional C-Suite professional will prepare and present board-level reports, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure measurable outcomes across assigned engagements. The role also requires collaborating with other Acentis Group executives, sharing best practices, and maintaining strong client relationships across a portfolio of SMEs.

Qualifications

  • Proven executive leadership experience (e.g., CFO, COO, CTO, CMO, CPO, CSO, or CEO) within founder-led or growth-stage businesses.
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic planning, business transformation, and governance, with a track record of driving measurable performance improvements.
  • Experience overseeing finance, operations, technology, people, or marketing functions, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence boards, investors, and senior leadership teams.
  • Background in scaling organizations, preparing for investment or exit, market expansion, or restructuring for performance.
  • Ability to operate across multiple client engagements, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes in time-bound, project-based environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SME environments and comfort working on-site in Southend-On-Sea with diverse, founder-led teams.
