Are you a commercially driven CFO who thrives on building value?

Keel CFO is an outcomes-focused fractional CFO provider, built to take ambitious businesses further. We work with companies typically generating a £3m+ turnover, providing them with powerful CFO leadership.

Our CFOs bring clarity, direction and momentum at pivotal points in a business’s journey - improving cash flow, strengthening performance, accelerating growth, navigating change, and preparing companies for investment, sale or exit.

We are looking for experienced CFOs to join the Keel CFO team. You will work flexibly with founders, CEOs, boards and investors through part-time, interim and project-based engagements, each focused on delivering significant, measurable outcomes.

You will bring strong commercial judgement, hands-on delivery capability, and experience in areas such as cash-flow improvement, turnaround, transformation, accelerated growth, fundraising or exit preparation.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience in senior financial leadership or CFO roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret, analyse, and present complex financial data clearly
  • Excellent Analytical Skills, including the ability to assess performance, evaluate risks, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience working with growth-oriented businesses, especially those preparing for investment, sale, or exit, is highly beneficial
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at executive and board level
  • Proven ability to work on-site with client teams, managing multiple engagements while maintaining high professional standards
