Role Description

The Fractional CFO is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and health of Express Turbo Delivery. This role includes developing financial plans and budgets, managing cash flow, and monitoring key financial metrics to support business growth and operational efficiency. The Fractional CFO will review and analyze financial statements, prepare and present financial reports to leadership, and provide data-driven recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. Day-to-day tasks involve building and refining financial models, supporting pricing and investment decisions, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, and collaborating with operations and commercial teams on strategic initiatives. The role also includes establishing robust financial controls, improving reporting processes, and contributing to long-term funding and expansion plans.

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Finance, including corporate finance principles and financial management practices.
  • Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with experience in forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Ability to interpret and manage Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation of management reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, with capacity to build financial models and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or high-growth SMEs is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) are beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and improve financial processes, controls, and systems in a scaling organization.
