Role Description

The Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and performance of Express Turbo Delivery on a part-time executive basis. This role includes:

  • Developing and monitoring financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support rapid growth and operational efficiency.
  • Analyzing financial data, managing cash flow, and providing guidance on pricing, cost optimization, and investment decisions.
  • Preparing financial reports for leadership, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and improving financial controls and processes.
  • Collaborating with operations, sales, and leadership teams to align financial strategies with business objectives and to support scalable, data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and performance metrics for logistics or service-based businesses.
  • Experience with financial controls, compliance, and risk management in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting and finance software, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools.
  • Background in strategic planning, business modeling, and support for growth-stage organizations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Prior fractional, consulting, or executive finance experience is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
  • Proven track record working remotely with high accountability, integrity, and confidentiality.
