RiderTax is looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to join us at an early and important stage of our journey.
We’re a UK tax-tech startup building a simpler way for self-employed delivery riders to manage their tax, expenses and financial admin. Our longer-term ambition is to build broader financial infrastructure for underserved self-employed workers.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who can work closely with the founders on:
- Financial modelling, forecasting and cash-flow planning
- Fundraising strategy and investment readiness
- Pre-seed/seed financial narrative and investor materials
- Unit economics, CAC, LTV and pricing
- Budgeting and scenario planning
- SEIS/EIS and fundraising considerations
- Due diligence preparation
- Building the financial foundations required to scale

Who We’re Looking For
Ideally, you have:
- CFO/FD experience with UK startups or scaleups
- Strong fintech, SaaS or technology experience
- Experience supporting pre-seed/seed fundraising
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Understanding of UK early-stage investment
- Experience working directly with founders and investors

This is a fractional position, so we're particularly interested in someone who enjoys getting involved early and helping founders build the right financial strategy before significant scale.
