Salary: Competitive day rate, commensurate with experience

Location: London | Hybrid | Approx. hours equating to 2 days per week

Our client is a growing specialist talent partner supporting founder-led and investor-backed businesses with ambitious go-to-market strategies. With an established UK and US presence, a loyal team and sustained year-on-year growth, the organisation has already built an impressive events and professional community platform. This is an opportunity to shape what comes next: bringing greater strategic direction, stronger audience targeting and clearer commercial outcomes to an established programme of 40–50 events each year.

The Fractional Events & Community Director will take ownership of the strategy behind events and communities, ensuring the right people are engaged, relationships are developed and activity creates measurable commercial value.

Role Highlights

  • Shape the strategy, purpose and commercial direction of a 40–50 event annual programme.
  • Define target audiences, identify key decision-makers and create compelling event concepts.
  • Build structured pre-event engagement and post-event follow-up strategies.
  • Develop and grow established professional communities while helping shape future communities.
  • Create practical frameworks for consultants, directors and subject-matter experts to host successful activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
