Fractional Finance Director | Rapid-Growth Consumer Brand

Harmonic is delighted to be working with one of the UK's most renowned consumer scale-ups exclusively in their search for a Fractional Finance Director. This is a 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

Revenue is circa £25-30m and the business is scaling into a significant peak trading period, having established themselves as the go-to brand in their subsector within Food & Beverage. The finance team is deliberately small and the transactional work is already covered, so the senior finance seat sits close to the founder. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a well-established and ambitious brand in the consumer space.

The Role

This is a fractional engagement of two to three days a week, reporting directly to the CEO. Support is already in place on the ledger and the transactional side, so this role sits above the processing and concentrates on the areas of risk: cash flow forecasting, commercial finance analysis, and the supplier payment cycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
