Part-time / Fractional (2 to 3 days per week initially)

OMNES is a fast-growing London-based fashion brand redefining accessible, responsible womenswear. Founded in 2021, OMNES combines modern design with a strong commitment to sustainability, transparency, and operational excellence. Following rapid growth across e-commerce and retail, we are strengthening our finance function to support the next stage of scale.

We are seeking an experienced Fractional Financial Controller to work closely with the Founder & CEO and Managing Director, helping professionalise financial operations, improve reporting visibility, and support strategic decision-making as the business grows.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment and can balance operational detail with commercial insight.

The Role

You will take ownership of day-to-day financial control while helping build scalable processes and reporting frameworks.

Financial Control and Reporting

  • Oversee monthly management accounts preparation and close process
  • Ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
  • Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes
  • Manage external accountants and bookkeeping functions
  • VAT oversight and compliance

Cash Flow and Working Capital

  • Weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
  • Support inventory and margin visibility across channels
  • Monitor payment terms, supplier exposure, and financing facilities

Commercial Finance Support

  • Provide financial insight to support trading and growth decisions
  • Margin analysis across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce channels
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles
  • Assist with board and investor reporting preparation

Process and Systems

  • Improve financial reporting structure and automation
  • Help implement scalable finance processes suitable for growth
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, merchandising, and leadership

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Previous Financial Controller or senior finance role in a scaling SME or consumer brand
  • Experience in fashion, retail, e-commerce, or inventory-led businesses preferred
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating in a founder-led, fast-moving environment
  • Hands-on and pragmatic, willing to both build and execute
