About Amity
Amity is a people and talent advisory business. We work with bootstrapped and scaling companies who need senior People and Talent expertise but can’t yet justify a full-time hire. Our service lines span diagnostic work, fractional and embedded leadership, talent strategy, executive coaching, and a peer community for new Heads of TA.
The Opportunity
We’re building a bench of experienced People and Talent professionals who can step into client businesses on a fractional or embedded basis – anything from a few days a month to full time, depending on the engagement. You’ll work directly with founders and leadership teams: diagnosing what the business actually needs, then delivering it. That might mean hiring a new team, building out a talent function from scratch, shaping people strategy ahead of a scale-up, coaching a first-time people leader, or acting as interim Talent or People leadership while a business grows into the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in a senior People, Talent Acquisition, or HR leadership role – in-house, RPO, or a mix of both
- Comfortable operating with little or no internal infrastructure – building the process as you go rather than following one that already exists
- A track record of translating business context into practical people and talent decisions, not just process for its own sake
- Available for fractional or portfolio work alongside other commitments
- Comfortable being judged on outcomes for a client, not hours logged

How We Work
Engagements are matched to your experience and availability – we don’t put anyone into a client relationship that isn’t the right fit on both sides. You’ll have Amity’s diagnostic tools, playbooks, and network behind you, not just a laptop and a client login.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
