Are you an experienced FRAEW Consultant looking to join a specialist consultancy at the forefront of building safety, façade remediation and fire compliance?
We're working with a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy that is expanding its façade and fire safety offering due to increasing demand across the residential, mixed-use and higher-risk building sectors. As a result, they are looking to appoint a Senior FRAEW Consultant to join their London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional seeking greater project ownership, exposure to complex remediation schemes and a clear path for long-term career progression.

The Role
As a Senior FRAEW Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering PAS 9980 assessments, façade investigations and building safety consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects.
You will be responsible for managing assessments from initial investigation through to reporting and client consultation, while providing technical advice on façade fire safety, compliance and remediation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PAS 9980 FRAEW assessments from site investigation through to final report issue
- Undertake intrusive façade and external wall investigations
- Assess fire risks associated with external wall systems and cladding materials
- Produce high-quality FRAEW reports and technical documentation
- Advise clients on compliance, risk mitigation and remediation strategies
- Review design, engineering and construction information
- Support cladding remediation and building safety projects
- Liaise with clients, contractors, fire engineers and project stakeholders

About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience within façade consultancy, engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience carrying out FRAEWs and PAS 9980 assessments
- Strong understanding of external wall construction and façade fire behaviour
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and fire safety legislation
- Experience working on medium and high-risk buildings
- Degree-qualified within a construction, engineering or related discipline
- Strong report writing, technical analysis and stakeholder management skills
Working Pattern
- London-based role - 5 days in office - 9am-5.30pm
- Site visits across London and wider regions as projects require
- Opportunity to work on projects throughout England and Wales
