About us:

Fireaway is one of the UK’s fastest-growing pizza brands, serving high-quality pizza made from authentic Italian family recipes at great value, with a local twist. With a focus on community, customer experience, and consistency, we’re seeking an ambitious and hands-on Franchise Development Manager to drive our expansion across the UK and strengthen relationships with our franchise network.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Franchise Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in the growth of our brand across the UK. This role is responsible for driving the strategic expansion of the business by identifying strong locations aligned with our target market and recruiting capable franchise partners who uphold our brand standards.

Beyond expansion, a key part of the role is working closely with our existing franchise network to strengthen relationships, support operational improvements, and help franchisees grow their businesses. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and franchise partners to improve efficiency, commercial performance, and overall brand consistency across the network.

The ideal candidate is a natural salesperson, commercially minded, and highly relationship-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities, influence partners, and drive sustainable growth. Creativity, persistence, and a strategic mindset are essential to succeed in this role.

Franchise Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Conduct market research and use data analytics to identify expansion opportunities aligned with the brand’s target market and location requirements.
  • Plan and map store expansion across the UK using geographical and demographic analysis to support the brand’s growth strategy.
  • Own and drive the brand’s expansion strategy, developing and executing a structured plan to achieve growth objectives.
  • Identify, attract, and recruit franchise partners who align with the brand’s values, goals, and operational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with property agents, landlords, and relevant partners to secure locations that meet the brand’s site requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
