About the engagement
Capitex is a specialist Financial Crime Compliance talent provider. We are hiring a Fraud Data Analyst for a 6-month contract supporting the 24/7 fraud operation of a leading international banking client.
The shape of the engagement
The first phase is delivered fully remote from the UK. From Month 3, the engagement moves onsite with the client overseas, with relocation fully supported - flight, visa sponsorship and a housing allowance on top of your fee. Location specifics are shared at screening stage. Onsite participation from Month 3 is a firm requirement of the role, not a preference - please only apply if a supported working stint abroad genuinely works for you.
The role
You will be the analytical engine of the fraud operations team - working alongside L1 and L2 fraud analysts and a senior fraud investigator, and acting as the bridge between what the operation sees and what the detection estate does.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
