Universally Speaking is offering a FREE two-week FQA Bootcamp in Liverpool, giving you the opportunity to gain practical testing experience, learn from industry professionals and develop skills that can help you take your first steps into the games industry.
Bootcamp Details
- Location: Universally Speaking, Liverpool
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Training: 70 hours
🎯 What You’ll Learn
During the Bootcamp, you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of FQA (Functional Quality Assurance) and professional game testing.
- Develop practical testing and bug-reporting skills.
- Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard testing processes and tools.
- Learn how to identify and document bugs, glitches, and other issues.
- Receive guidance from experienced FQA professionals.
- Get practical CV and LinkedIn advice to help you prepare for opportunities in the games industry.

👀 Who We’re Looking For
You don't need previous experience in gaming or FQA. We're looking for people who:
- Are 20 or over.
- Live within the Liverpool City Region.
- Are currently unemployed or seriously considering a career change into the games industry.
- Have a genuine passion for gaming.
- Have strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Can communicate effectively in English.
- Meet the relevant Skills Bootcamp funding eligibility criteria.
