Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Freelance 3D Architectural Visualisation Artist. The artist will create high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renders of interiors and exteriors based on architectural plans, design concepts, and reference materials. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Producing still images, animations, and walkthroughs as needed

The artist will manage their own workflow, maintain clear communication, and adhere to project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills using industry-standard software (e.g., 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp, Cinema 4D) and rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, Cycles, Lumion).
  • Proficiency in architectural visualization techniques, including accurate interpretation of floor plans, elevations, and CAD drawings.
  • Solid understanding of lighting, materials, texturing, and composition to achieve photorealistic results.
  • Experience with post-production tools such as Adobe Photoshop and other image-editing software for final render enhancements.
  • Ability to work remotely with excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with designers, architects, and clients.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality architectural and interior visualisations across different project types.
  • Relevant education or training in architecture, interior design, 3D design, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with current design and visualization trends and willingness to continuously improve technical and artistic skills.
