About the Agency

Our client is an award-winning social media agency based in London, working with a range of well-known brands across B2B and consumer sectors.

Position: Account Director

They are now looking for an experienced Account Director for a 2-3 month contract with great potential to go permanent.

Overview

Reporting to the Head of B2B, you’ll lead a portfolio of B2B clients across a range of sectors, taking responsibility for senior client relationships, account growth, and the successful delivery of integrated marketing programs across social media, content marketing, and wider digital channels.

You’ll act as a trusted strategic partner to your clients while also taking ownership of the commercial management of your accounts, including forecasting, scoping, estimating, and invoicing.

This is a hybrid role, with at least two days per week based in their London office and the remainder working remotely within the UK.

Responsibilities

As Account Director, you will:

  • Lead relationships across a portfolio of B2B accounts, building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders up to Director and VP level.
  • Oversee the delivery of integrated social, content, influencer, website, and digital programs from initial brief through to evaluation.
  • Bring strong B2B marketing knowledge and insight to client discussions, planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Drive account growth by identifying opportunities to expand services, increase revenue, and develop long-term client partnerships.
  • Lead content strategy across your accounts, ensuring social, content, and web activity is aligned with wider client business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working across accounts.
  • Manage account finances, including forecasting, scoping new projects, preparing estimates, budgeting, and supporting invoicing.
  • Lead early-stage content planning, connecting client objectives with strategy and delivery teams before overseeing implementation.
  • Line manage and support the development of an Account Manager through coaching, feedback, and ongoing development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
