Freelance Account Director (Branding Agency) — 6 Weeks - £450/£500 per day inside IR35 - London - Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Account Director to join a leading branding agency for an initial six-week contract.

You’ll step into a busy client portfolio and take senior ownership of the day-to-day agency/client relationship, helping to keep projects moving, stakeholders aligned and the work commercially and creatively on track.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can quickly get under the skin of a client, build trust and bring calm, confident leadership to a fast-moving branding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead key client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact across multiple projects.
  • Own project communication, ensuring clients and internal teams are aligned at every stage.
  • Work closely with strategy, creative and production teams to keep projects progressing smoothly.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, scopes and expectations across live branding projects.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations and project updates with confidence.
  • Identify risks, resolve issues and keep momentum when priorities shift.
  • Brief and collaborate with internal teams, ensuring everyone understands the client challenge and project objectives.
  • Spot opportunities to strengthen relationships and add value beyond the immediate brief.
  • Bring structure, clarity and senior account leadership from day one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
