About the role

Makerz is a boutique marketing agency running paid media (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) for an international restaurant brand. Our dashboards must be rebuilt around the new definitions, and a new data pipeline built from the provider's data warehouse. This is a defined piece of work with a written specification, clear definitions and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild our client reporting as one Supermetrics Studio dashboard (HTML + query API) with three pages built to a written specification: a client overview, a Google Ads page and a Meta/TikTok page. A fourth page is fed by the pipeline below.
  • Connect to a third-party data warehouse (Apache Iceberg on S3) using DuckDB; write one documented SQL extract following the provider's handbook; reconcile it once against the provider's published report; automate it nightly into Google Sheets or BigQuery for the dashboard to read.
  • Implement the agency's visual system from supplied brand assets and produce static mock-ups for approval before wiring data.
  • Deliver a runbook, hand over all source, and run a one-hour walkthrough with the in-house team.
  • Build the nightly job with automatic failure alerts; fix anything broken or defective at no charge for 30 days after handover; be available ad hoc at a day rate afterwards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
