Job Description: Animated Music Video for "Jack's Radio"
This role involves creating a visually captivating four-minute animated music video for the song "Jack's Radio" by Sharp Marbles. The animation will follow a young boy as he leaves his wheelchair and journeys through a series of imaginative worlds, each reflecting the evolving musical styles of the track. Drawing inspiration from the psychedelic and whimsical style of The Beatles' Yellow Submarine, the video should evoke a sense of wonder and transformation, culminating in the boy morphing into a blackbird as the song concludes. The creative direction should be emotionally resonant, visually dynamic, and closely aligned with the provided song and lyrics.
Deliverables
- Develop a complete four-minute animated music video, from concept to final render
- Create storyboards and animatics to outline the visual narrative and transitions
- Design and animate multiple imaginative worlds and environments that reflect the song’s changing musical styles
- Animate character transformation sequences, including the boy’s journey and final morph into a blackbird
- Integrate provided audio and lyrics as creative reference points throughout the animation
- Ensure all animation assets are delivered in high-quality formats suitable for digital distribution

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
