Art in Offices is recruiting for a Registrar
Art in Offices is recruiting for a Registrar to replace the current incumbent, who is moving on to a new role. This is a freelance role which will work on a project-by-project basis, with no set hours per week, but based on a set daily rate.
About Art in Offices
Art in Offices was founded in 2012 by Katie Henry. We now offer a range of services, which include enabling clients to buy, rent or rotate art; planning art strategies, student art prizes, provide creative events and help companies create art strategies and build collections. We have also started to dress spaces with art and objects.
The team currently consists of the Director, a Junior Art Consultant, Press and Marketing Assistant, Social Media Manager, a Finance Accounts Assistant, and the incumbent Registrar, as well as a team of suppliers which include shippers, fabricators and art technicians.
The Role
The Registrar's role in the company is vital, as this person works with all teams and departments closely, plus all of our artists, suppliers and clients. The Director and sales team work closely with the client to provide curation services and lease or sell artwork to our clients. The Registrar's role involves the administration and logistics of implementing the services we have provided to the client, which includes shipping, logistics, working with art technicians, contracts and document sign-off. Outside of client projects, the Registrar liaises regularly with artists and keeps our systems, databases, records and storage up to date.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
