The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and reliable Bengali interpreter to meet a critical demand for face-to-face interpreting services in the Greenwich (SE10) area. This recruitment drive is in direct response to the needs of our clients, who require consistent, high-quality language support for their service users.
This is an excellent opportunity for a locally-based Bengali interpreter to secure regular assignments and become a key language partner in the community.

What You Will Do:
- Provide professional, accurate, and impartial face-to-face interpreting in community and care settings.
- Travel to assignments primarily within the SE10 postal code area.
- Manage your schedule and accept assignments via our online portal.
- Uphold professional ethics, including strict confidentiality and impartiality.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Fluency in both English and Bengali.
- A recognised interpreting qualification (e.g., Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Certificate in Community Interpreting (CCI), or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience in a professional interpreting role is highly desirable.
- Must be based in or able to easily travel to the Greenwich area for assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional conduct.
- Eligibility to work as a self-employed professional in the UK.
