Job Description: Brand Designer for Sentinel Wanderers

Sentinel Wanderers, a new production company, is seeking a talented brand designer to create a distinctive logo and a cinematic animated bumper for an unscripted comedy reality competition series inspired by drag, theatre, drama, and musical theatre.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will blend originality with professionalism, delivering a visual identity that is feminine, camp, and serious without being intimidating.

Key Requirements

  • Logo Design:

    • Minimalist helmet icon with a glowing neon-pink eye visor
    • “Sentinel” in metallic gold
    • “Wanderers” in neon pink
    • Utilize a palette of charcoal black, metallic gold, and neon pink
  • Animated Bumper:

    • Three seconds long
    • 4K UHD (3840 × 2160), 16:9 at 25 FPS
    • Two versions: one with a charcoal background, one with a transparent alpha channel
    • Include neon-pink eye glow
    • Audio featuring a mechanical shutter or camera-click, cinematic bass impact, and a theatrical cabaret/Broadway-inspired laugh

Deliverables

  • Original logo design

  • ProRes format delivery with 24-bit PCM 48 kHz stereo audio

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logo design, branding, and motion graphics for entertainment or media projects
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating original sketching, graphic design, and animation skills
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and deliver visually compelling, professional results
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) or equivalent tools
  • Experience delivering 4K UHD animated assets with professional audio
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work quickly
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Availability for immediate start and potential follow-up projects
