Children of Adam Freelance Social Media & Paid Ads Specialist
Children of Adam is looking for an experienced freelance Social Media & Paid Ads Specialist to help grow our charity's reach, supporter base, and fundraising through social media.
This is a freelance opportunity only. We are not looking for an employee or a marketing/media agency. We want to work directly with an experienced independent freelancer.
We're looking for someone who understands how to use social media and paid advertising to grow a charity — from telling powerful stories and raising awareness to running fundraising appeals and donor acquisition campaigns.
What you'll help us with
- Manage and grow our social media channels
- Plan and create engaging charity-focused content
- Turn our projects, appeals, and impact into compelling stories
- Plan and run fundraising and awareness campaigns
- Set up, manage, and optimise Meta Ads and other relevant paid campaigns
- Build donor acquisition and retargeting campaigns
- Test audiences, messaging, and creative to improve results
- Track advertising spend, donations, and campaign performance
- Help convert social media audiences into donors and long-term supporters
- Provide clear reporting on results and recommendations for improvement

Charity & paid advertising experience
We're particularly interested in freelancers who understand charity fundraising and donor acquisition, including areas such as:
- Meta fundraising and donation campaigns
- Donor acquisition and cost-per-donation
- Retargeting strategies
- Campaign tracking and attribution
- Creative and audience testing
- Fundraising appeals
- Google Ad Grants, where relevant
- Growing and engaging supporter communities
Previous charity or fundraising experience is highly desirable.

- Able to demonstrate previous campaigns and measurable results
- Creative, proactive, and results-focused
