Freelance Clipping Content Manager
About Cohort
Cohort is a creator marketing agency specialising in influencer marketing, clipping and UGC content. We help brands and agency partners reach the right audiences through authentic creator partnerships, engaging content and targeted distribution across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Our work spans strategy, creator sourcing, content production, distribution and reporting, with a focus on building awareness, sparking conversation and delivering measurable results.
About the role
Cohort is looking for a hands-on Clipping Content Manager who understands streamer culture, knows what works on social media and has exceptional attention to detail. You’ll work alongside our campaign team, reviewing and refining all clipping content before it reaches the client. You know what makes a clip work, and when it needs another edit.
Already a streamer, clipper or creator yourself? That’s a big plus.
Please note, we are looking for freelancers only. The role will initially be offered on a project-based, fixed term contract for 15 to 20 hours per week, equating to around 3 to 4 hours per day. Depending on campaign performance, there may be scope to increase the hours and extend the contract.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Our team works fully remotely, and this is a remote role. We require candidates to have some flexibility around working UK and US time zones. You must also have your own equipment, including a laptop, phone, and access to any other tools required to complete the role effectively.
What you’ll do
- Know the brief inside out. Turn campaign do’s, don’ts and must-haves into clear review checks. Make sure required messaging is included and restricted topics, claims and references are avoided.
- Check every detail. Review hooks, pacing, audio, captions, on-screen text, titles, thumbnails and hashtags. Nothing gets passed on without a thorough check.
- Protect context and brand safety. Catch misleading edits, inappropriate wording and unsuitable posting accounts. Flag potential sentiment or reputational risks early.
- Manage feedback and revisions. Give clippers clear, actionable feedback, check changes and ensure only client-ready content moves forward.
- Apply a performance mindset. Understand CPM, IPK/IPM, CPE and audience sentiment, using insights to improve content without compromising the brief.
- Campaign reporting for clients. Using our proprietary dashboard to pull together insightful reports about campaign performance.

What you’ll bring
- Exceptional attention to detail. You spot the missed instruction, incorrect caption or out-of-context edit, not just the obvious mistakes.
- Proven success managing or reviewing short- and long-form clipping content, ideally for performance-led campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of leading streamers, their audiences and what performs well on TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and YouTube.
- Familiarity with Whop, Discord and Skool, and how clipping communities operate.
- Experience pulling together client-facing campaign reports, and providing impactful insights.
- Clear communication, strong organisation and the confidence to send content back when it isn’t ready.
- Able to work independently and follow creative direction.
