DODO is a content studio. We are recruiting a freelance content creator to produce short form video for one of our clients, a UK consumer brand in the sleep and wellness space.
You will be the face and the voice of the channel, and you will also film it, edit it and deliver it. This is a full stack creator role: on camera, behind the camera, and in the edit. You will be the main face of the channel, though not necessarily the only creator on it.
The work involves presenting on camera, one on-site shoot day per week, cutting and editing everything yourself, delivering finished content in batches every two weeks, covering a range of up to 40 products, researching current trends and writing a substantial share of the scripts, and one 30 minute planning call each week.
Volume and fee depend on which package our client takes, and this is confirmed with you before you start. Package A is 60 short form videos, 6 long form videos and 10 product demonstrations per month at £1,500. Package B is 100 short form videos, 8 to 10 long form videos, 16 product demonstrations, 80 story clips and 2 to 4 live streaming sessions per month at £2,200.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
A weekly shoot day banks enough footage for the fortnightly delivery. The work is built around smart repurposing, which is what makes these volumes achievable.
This is a self employed contract. You invoice us monthly and handle your own tax and National Insurance. Four week paid pilot against agreed deliverables, then rolling monthly with two weeks notice either way. Non exclusive. Paid 30 days from invoice.
If the channel delivers a return there is a real route to this becoming a full time role.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in video or short form content production. This is the first thing we look at, and ideally you are already working in this space.
- Confident and watchable on camera. This is a presenting role as much as a production one.
- Strong vertical video editing in CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci or equivalent.
- A native understanding of TikTok: hooks, pacing, sounds, trends and watch time.
- Able to turn one shoot day into fifteen or more usable pieces without the output feeling repetitive.
- Organised enough to hit a delivery schedule without being chased.
- UK based and able to travel to weekly shoot days.
