Project Description
We are looking for a mid-level CRM and Marketing Automation specialist to optimize our operations.
We currently manage approximately 2,000 contacts and are targeting year-on-year growth. We need an expert to develop the existing foundation in Mailchimp (acting as our primary CRM), integrate it with our entry platform (Evessio), and configure a custom preference centre to protect our subscriber list.
Key Deliverables
- Mailchimp CRM Structure: Audit and restructure our single audience using internal Tags and public Groups.
- Evessio API Integration: Connect Evessio to Mailchimp using an integration tool (e.g., Zapier) to automatically map contact roles and real-time entry updates (e.g., from Draft to Submitted).
- Preference Centre Setup: Create a custom, branded preference centre allowing users to toggle between three content pillars (Award Entries, Food & Drink Industry News, Consumer Trends).
- Automation Flows: Build up to 3 core automated email journeys (e.g., automated draft reminders for entrants).

Skills Required
- Proven experience with Mailchimp CRM architecture, groups, and automation.
- Strong background in data integrations using webhooks/APIs via middleware like Zapier.
- Experience with awards or event platforms (knowledge of Evessio is a plus, but not essential if you understand API mapping).
- Focus on data compliance and list hygiene.
