A modern luxury wellness brand, recognised by leading lifestyle and business publications, is seeking a commercially driven and performance-focused Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist.

This is an ideal role for a digital marketer who thrives on driving measurable growth through intelligent performance marketing, strategic thinking, and continual optimisation. Working closely with the senior leadership team, they will take ownership of the business's digital acquisition strategy, ensuring every campaign delivers against commercial objectives while strengthening brand awareness and customer engagement.

The successful candidate will combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution, confidently managing paid media across Google Ads and Meta, analysing performance data, and continuously refining campaigns to maximise return on investment. They will understand how to balance premium brand positioning with commercial performance and be excited by the opportunity to make a tangible impact within an ambitious, high-growth wellness business.

The Role...

  • Salary: £1,500 per month
  • Working Hours: Approx. 16 hours per week (2 days)
  • Location: Remote, with occasional meetings in London
  • Reporting to: CEO / Senior Leadership

Responsibilities

1. Digital Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute the overall digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase lead generation, customer acquisition, and member retention through digital channels.
  • Continually review market trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team to ensure digital activity supports broader brand campaigns and business priorities.

2. Performance Marketing

  • Plan, manage, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Manage advertising budgets to maximise efficiency, ROAS, and customer acquisition.
  • Continuously test audiences, messaging, creative, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
  • Monitor acquisition costs, conversion rates, and overall campaign effectiveness, making recommendations based on data.

3. Website & Conversion Optimisation

  • Review and optimise website content and landing pages to improve user experience and conversion.
  • Support SEO best practices and identify opportunities to increase organic visibility.
  • Ensure all digital touchpoints reflect the premium positioning of the business.
  • Recommend improvements to the online customer journey to maximise enquiries and membership conversions.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance across all digital channels, providing regular reports and commercial insights.
  • Analyse key metrics including ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rates, and lead quality.
  • Use Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other reporting tools to inform future strategy.
  • Present clear recommendations that support business growth and marketing effectiveness.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to ensure campaigns support wider business initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on digital best practice across content, campaigns, and online communications.
  • Stay informed of emerging digital trends and proactively introduce new opportunities that support business growth.

You Are:

  • A commercially minded digital marketer who enjoys solving business challenges through data and performance.
  • Strategic enough to build growth plans, while remaining hands-on in campaign execution.
  • Curious, analytical, and constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance.
  • Comfortable working independently while acting as a trusted marketing partner to senior leadership.
  • Passionate about premium wellness, hospitality, and consumer experience.

Must-Have Experience:

  • Proven experience managing and optimising Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns with demonstrable commercial success.
  • Strong understanding of paid media strategy, customer acquisition, and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience using Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Business Suite, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into commercial recommendations.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain digital performance to non-technical stakeholders.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience within boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle brands.
  • Knowledge of SEO, CRO, and digital customer journeys.
  • Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms such as Xplor Growth or Klaviyo.
  • Understanding of membership or subscription-based business models.
