Are you a master of visual transformation, ready to bring your expert touch to high-impact campaigns? We’re seeking a highly skilled Digital Retoucher to elevate the visual storytelling for critical client initiatives. In this dynamic freelance role, you will be instrumental in crafting stunning, technically precise visual assets that capture attention and drive engagement across various digital and marketing platforms. Your keen eye and advanced skills will directly contribute to the success of campaigns that communicate vital advancements and efficiencies, ensuring every visual detail is perfect and powerfully conveys the client’s message.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced freelance Digital Retoucher to support the delivery of visual assets for two significant campaign projects. You will collaborate closely with a talented creative team to produce polished, technically accurate digital visuals and high-quality retouched assets, deployed across digital, presentation, and marketing channels. This is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity for someone who can quickly grasp a brief, confidently work with supplied photography and 2D assets, and deliver production-ready artwork with precision and speed.

What You’ll Do

  • Retouch and composite imagery to create compelling digital key visuals and campaign assets.
  • Perform comprehensive image clean-up, masking, colour correction, colour grading, and digital manipulation using industry-standard software.
  • Refine photography and supplied 2D assets to align with approved creative direction and brand guidelines.
  • Adapt visuals for a multitude of digital formats, dimensions, resolutions, channels, and responsive layouts.
  • Optimise imagery specifically for web, paid media, social, email, landing pages, presentations, and other digital placements.
  • Collaborate with Art Directors, Creative Directors, Designers, Artworkers, Digital Producers, and Project Managers to interpret briefs and efficiently incorporate feedback.
  • Maintain organised, clearly labelled working files, source assets, layers, linked files, version control, and final deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and flag technical or production risks, contributing to practical solutions.
  • Execute all tasks within agreed timelines, budgets, and brand guidelines, consistently upholding a high standard of craft.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Digital Retoucher.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing high-end retouching, image manipulation, compositing, and digital asset production.
  • Confidence in working with photography, supplied 2D assets, and campaign imagery.
  • A strong understanding of image quality, resolution, colour, composition, and digital production requirements.
  • Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills, including expertise in compositing, masking, colour grading, image clean-up, and file preparation.
  • Experience preparing artwork for digital, presentation, and marketing channels across multiple formats and specifications.
  • Ability to produce accurate, detail-focused work under tight deadlines.
  • Clear, proactive communication and a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to commit to a specific project timeline (approximately 2 weeks, dates to be confirmed).
