About The Role
The Freelance Driver Trainer position in Birmingham, offered through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial on behalf of PDT Fleet Training Solutions, carries a daily rate of £150 on a contract basis. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Responsibilities
As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:
- Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
- Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
- Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
- A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
- Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
- Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
