About The Role

The Freelance Driver Training role in Liverpool, offered on a contract basis through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial, pays £150 per day. You will deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions for PDT Fleet Training Solutions, primarily in category B vans on client premises. About the Company

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Responsibilities

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

  • Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
  • Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
  • Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
  • A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
  • Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
  • Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
