Job Description: DSE Ergonomic Assessor
We're looking for a UK-based DSE Ergonomic Assessor who is genuinely neurodiversity-informed and brings real, practical experience of supporting neurodivergent people in the workplace. This isn't a checkbox exercise; we are looking for someone who understands that a good assessment and well-written report goes beyond desk height and screen distance, and who can identify and recommend adjustments that make a tangible difference for neurodivergent employees.
You'll carry out DSE and workplace needs assessments (remote and in-person), produce clear and actionable reports based on our unique templates, and work collaboratively with our small, supportive core team. You'll also be trained to contribute to our assessment platform rota, providing triage support to our clients using the self-assessment platform and helping keep our systems running smoothly for the wider team.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from professionals with any combination of professional backgrounds including:
- Ergonomists
- Physio Ergonomists
- Workplace Needs Assessors
- Occupational Health Assessors
- Access to Work Needs Assessors

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We value demonstrable experience above formal qualifications. If you can show us real experience assessing and supporting neurodivergent individuals in workplace settings, we want to hear from you, regardless of your exact professional title or route into the field. Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., ACPOHE, IOSH, CIEHF, HCPC, CSP) is desirable and tells us a lot about you, but is not essential.
What You'll Need
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience conducting workplace or DSE assessments with examples of reports.
- Strong, genuine understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace (e.g., ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia) and how it affects work, environment, and reasonable adjustments.
- Excellent written communication skills. We pride ourselves on the quality of our reports, so you must be able to produce clear, practical, and accurate assessment reports.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and put assesses at ease.
- Own equipment and means of remote working.
- Willingness to travel for in-person assessments.
- Comfortable working as a freelancer within IR35-compliant arrangements.
- Confident using database and SharePoint systems, and willing to take a rotational role in managing our assessment platform.
