Role Description

This is an ongoing and regular freelance, on-site Product Photographer role based in our Bloomsbury studio in central London. The role involves shooting high-quality packshot and e-commerce imagery across fashion, accessories and consumer products, alongside managing studio lighting setups, camera workflows and day-to-day studio production.

You will work closely with the wider team across both photography and post-production to deliver technically precise and visually consistent imagery for a range of commercial clients. The role also includes image retouching, quality control and file preparation, while maintaining high studio standards and efficient production workflows throughout projects.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of product photography, a good visual eye for styling and composition, and the ability to recognise when lighting, product presentation and overall imagery require refinement to achieve a polished commercial result.

Main Responsibilities

  • Shooting packshot and e-commerce imagery across fashion, accessories and consumer products
  • Setting up and refining studio lighting for a wide range of materials, textures and reflective surfaces
  • Operating camera, tethering and capture workflows to maintain technically accurate and visually consistent imagery
  • Assisting with styling, product preparation and on-set workflow during shoots
  • Performing image retouching, clean-up and colour consistency adjustments where required
  • Carrying out image QA and consistency checks across large product image sets
  • Preparing and exporting final image deliveries to client specifications
  • Supporting the development and refinement of studio lighting setups and photography workflows
  • Maintaining studio equipment, shooting standards and overall studio organisation

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of product photography
  • Strong technical knowledge of studio lighting and camera operation
  • Confident using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Capture One
  • Strong eye for detail, composition and visually balanced product imagery
  • Good understanding of product styling, garment presentation and overall visual consistency
  • Ability to recognise when products, styling and lighting require adjustment to achieve a polished commercial result
  • Understanding of lighting and reflection control across different materials, textures and reflective surfaces
  • Ability to maintain consistent framing, exposure and colour across large image sets
  • Experience with image retouching, post-production workflows and final image preparation
  • Organised and methodical approach to file management, exporting and delivery workflows
  • Reliable, proactive and comfortable working within fast-paced commercial studio environments
  • Interest in commercial photography, lighting and technical image production
