Pathway Group is seeking an experienced Employability Tutor to deliver a four-week employability programme from our Birmingham head office.

The successful candidate will support learners to develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to progress into sustainable employment. Delivery will include CV writing, job searching, application support, interview preparation, workplace behaviours and career planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging employability training across the four-week programme
  • Support learners with CVs, applications, job searching and interview preparation
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs
  • Monitor learner attendance, progress and participation
  • Complete all required learner records and programme documentation
  • Work closely with the engagement, quality and delivery teams
  • Ensure delivery meets programme, quality and compliance requirements

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised teaching qualification, such as Level 3 Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent
  • Previous experience delivering employability or vocational training
  • Experience supporting unemployed adults or learners with barriers to employment
  • Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work on-site at Amington House for the full four-week programme

An assessor qualification and experience delivering funded employability or skills programmes would be advantageous.
