We’re Hiring: Freelance Event Crew – London

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Freelance Event Crew to join our team and support the setup and pack-down of weddings, corporate events and special celebrations across our London venues.

This is a hands-on role and would be ideal for students, individuals looking for flexible work, or anyone interested in gaining practical experience within the events industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with event décor setup and styling
  • Setting up tables, chairs, staging, signage and guest areas
  • Setting tables, including charger plates, crockery, glassware and other tableware
  • Loading and unloading décor, furniture and event equipment
  • Assisting with floral arrangements and centrepieces
  • Assisting with stage and backdrop setups under direction
  • Ironing, steaming, folding and preparing table linen and curtains
  • Cleaning and preparing décor equipment before and after events
  • Assisting with stock counts and ensuring equipment is returned to the correct storage areas
  • Assisting with loading and unloading event vehicles where required
  • Completing post-event pack-downs, including late-night and overnight shifts

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Hardworking with a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable with practical, physical work, including lifting and moving event equipment
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, particularly evenings and weekends
  • Based in London or able to travel easily within London
  • Previous event, décor, warehouse or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential – training will be provided

Working Arrangements

This is freelance/casual event work, with shifts offered according to our event schedule. Working hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight pack-downs.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the events industry and learn how large-scale events are transformed from an empty venue into a finished event space.
