Role Description

The Freelance Facilitator is a contract role based on-site in London, Birmingham or Edinburgh delivering high-quality learning and development sessions for Financial Services clients. In this role, the facilitator leads interactive workshops and training programs across areas such as leadership, business growth, career management, and coaching skills.   • Collaborating with ABSTRACT’s internal team to ensure consistent program delivery

The facilitator will also maintain professional standards, align delivery with client objectives, and contribute insights to improve future sessions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience facilitating professional workshops, training sessions, or development programs, ideally within Financial Services or corporate environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups and encourage active participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, psychologically safe learning spaces that respect different perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Experience in leadership development, business growth, coaching, or career management, with the ability to translate concepts into practical tools for participants.
  • Skilled in adapting materials and delivery styles to different audiences and levels of seniority, including virtual and in-person formats.
  • Excellent time management, reliability, and professionalism in managing contract-based work and client relationships.
  • Relevant training, coaching, L&D certifications, or qualifications are highly beneficial.
  • Availability to work on-site in London, Birmingham or Edinburgh and flexibility to deliver sessions on agreed dates and times.
  • Must be able to give 5 days of availability a month.
