Role Description
The Freelance Field Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cumbria.
The consultant will meet prospective clients in person, explain Honey Legal’s services, and provide clear guidance on estate planning and asset protection solutions. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Generating leads through local networking and referrals
- Conducting consultations at clients’ homes or agreed locations
- Presenting tailored service packages to meet individual needs
- Managing the sales process from initial contact to agreement
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions
- Coordinating with head office teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer service

The consultant is expected to:
- Build long-term relationships in the community
- Represent the brand professionally
- Consistently work toward agreed sales targets
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with a focus on empathy, confidentiality, and trust-building in client-facing roles.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including consultative selling, closing deals, and working toward performance targets.
- Experience in Lead Generation and Sales Operations, such as prospecting, pipeline management, and accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage a flexible schedule, and travel locally within the Cumbria area.
- Familiarity with estate planning, financial services, or legal services is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
- A full training package will be provided before starting the role
- Comfort with basic digital tools for managing appointments, documentation, and communication.
- Relevant background in sales, consulting, or client advisory roles; professional qualifications in finance, law, or related areas are an advantage.
