Company Description
ScaleWox is a growth infrastructure marketplace focused on delivering measurable revenue rather than selling education or consulting. The company partners with businesses, creators, and product owners who already generate at least $5K monthly from a single revenue channel and helps them unlock additional income streams. Through offerings such as Expand Without Inventory™, Content to Revenue™, Make Money with Apps™, and Growth Partner™, ScaleWox connects existing products and audiences to new distribution and sales channels. Its broader ecosystem includes ScaleWox Academy for hands-on professional training, ScaleWox Works for contractor-client matching, and Japa With a Job™ for supporting relocating professionals with sustainable income. ScaleWox operates primarily on revenue-share models and engages only when it can identify a clear, fast path to measurable revenue.
Role Description
The Freelance Financial Analyst role at ScaleWox is a remote, contract position focused on supporting data-driven revenue decisions across multiple client projects.
ScaleWox is building a pipeline of talented financial analysts to support upcoming operational and investment-readiness projects. This is not an immediate placement. We are identifying strong professionals now, so that when new client projects go live, we already know who to call. If you are an analyst who can take messy numbers and turn them into something a founder can stand behind, we would like to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Do
At ScaleWox, we help founders and growing businesses build stronger financial operations, improve business performance, and prepare for investment, funding, acquisitions, and strategic growth. Our work goes beyond bookkeeping. We help businesses create reliable financial systems, improve their reporting, and make sure they are ready when investors, lenders, or other stakeholders start asking the important questions.
What the Work Involves
Successful candidates will be considered for upcoming freelance engagements that may include:
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Financial modelling
- Business performance reviews
- Investment and funding preparation
- Supporting founders with clear, decision-ready financial information
The focus is never complex accounting for its own sake. It is clarity. A founder who can walk into a diligence conversation and explain their own numbers reads as competent, and that is what moves conversations forward. This role is what makes that possible.
What We Are Looking For
You will be a strong fit if you:
- Have solid experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business analysis
- Can take an earning but disorganized business and make its numbers legible
- Understand what makes financials investment-ready, not just accurate
- Communicate clearly and can explain a number to a non-finance founder in plain language
- Work independently and reliably across several projects at once

Qualifications
- Experience in financial analysis or a similar role (preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (preferred)
- Experience with accounting or reporting software (preferred)
- Located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
Why Work With Us
- A portfolio, not a single seat. Exposure to a range of growing businesses instead of one employer.
- Clear scope. Every engagement has a defined job and a defined outcome.
- Real impact. Your work is often what stands between a founder and their raise.
- Flexibility. Fractional and fully remote. You take on what fits and deliver on your terms.
How to Apply
Apply with your details through LinkedIn. Shortlisted applicants will receive an email with the next steps. We review applications on a rolling basis, so early and complete applications are encouraged.
We appreciate your interest in ScaleWox and look forward to hearing from you.
